Ferraro's Ristorante to Host Taste & Learn Event on August 26

Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to experience its next Taste & Learn on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of imaginative, authentic Italian small plates created by Ferraro’s Executive Chef Mimmo Ferraro.

The August Taste & Learn event spotlights wines from Capecci. With a distinctive combination of extraordinarily fertile soil and ideal weather conditions in the coastal region of Le Marche, Italy, Capecci is known across the globe for its rich winemaking traditions and history.

Taste & Learn attendees will begin the tasting with Reva Bianco Langhe, a tempting dry and aromatic white wine. Second on the menu is the Ciprea Pecorino, an award-winning white with notes of peach, melon, pear and citrus. Next, the Qvinta Montepulciano red wine will offer a smooth finish along with earthy notes of oak and spices. Lastly, guests will conclude the tasting with Cava d'Onice Brunello di Montalcino, a savory red featuring aromas of sunbaked earth and dark-skinned fruit.

“Our August Taste & Learn event will transport guests to Italy’s coastal region of Marche,” says Mimmo Ferraro, executive chef, Ferraro’s. “Attendees can look forward to the region’s finest red and white wines exquisitely paired with summer’s freshest flavors.”
